Melissa Harris has been in the Real Estate industry since the age of 13 as an assistant to her father who was in the Property Management business in San Mateo, California -- true story!  She developed a genuine passion for the real estate business and obtained her Real Estate Salespersons license in 2003 and began doing mortgage loans in 2005.  Melissa loved, loved, loved financing and after the big market crash in 2008, the loan business went somewhat sour for her so she took a break and went into Property Management while continuing to sell homes. Melissa has an incredible zest for life and a genuine love for people. Her people skills are unmatched and she is a real advocate for excellent customer service as she lives by the "Golden Rule" of "Always treat others the way that you desire to be treated".  Melissa truly understands that investing in real estate can be quite stressful so she always tries to do her very best to help alleviate most, if not all, of those stressful feelings. Her incredible sense of humor really helps a LOT!  She understands that her job is to ultimately and professionally help you obtain your financing goals and walk you through the entire process so that you will never feel left out.  Other delightful facts about Melissa include her having two awesome grown sons (one is a US Marine Vet), four adorable grandsons, and a beautiful cat, "Tess".  She is also Certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner, Dream Interpreter, Professional Life Coach,  Success Coach, and Disaster Recovery Coach.  Melissa enjoys laughing, going to the beach, reading, music, rapping (and napping) with Tess (haha) and watching comedy.
